Students With College Credits
Often, students in degree completion programs enter with some previous college credit and learn they will need additional courses to satisfy general education requirements. The Associate of Arts and Sciences degree (AAS) to Degree Completion Pathway offers a solution for students targeting a 100% online bachelor’s degree.
New Freshman
Online degree completion programs are also an option if you do not have previous college credit. By following the AAS to Degree Completion Pathway, beginning with AAS general education courses, then moving on to the bachelor’s degree required courses, you will achieve a bachelor’s degree, 100% online, from start to finish.
Associate Degree Definition
An associate’s degree is a post-secondary degree traditionally requiring full-time students two years to complete. The AAS degree fulfills the general education requirements at UW System schools and beyond. As a stand-alone credential, the AAS is a good fit for occupations requiring workers to have some college experience.
Higher Earning Potential
Can you get a good job without a degree? Yes, but having a degree can increase your earning potential. According to a special report issued by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics in 2017, earning an associate degree can provide a salary boost. An associate degree holder’s median weekly salary is 7.4 percent more than those with some college credit and 14.9 percent more than those with only a high school diploma.
Once you earn an associate’s degree there is an opportunity to enter the workforce with a credential that can increase earnings, while pursuing an online bachelor’s degree through one of the degree completion programs.

Pursue your bachelor’s degree with one of the convenient online programs listed below. Classes are in an asynchronous format, which means you may view instructional materials each week at a time that you choose. (Verses synchronous, which requires logging in at specific times each week.)

If you have not completed the program pre-requisite courses or other program entrance requirements yet, you may be admitted into the program as a pending student until the requirements are satisfied.
