Gifts of Stock
To ensure that your stock gift is promptly recorded and acknowledged for tax purposes, please notify us at (262) 595-2233 or development@uwp.edu that you will be transferring a gift of stock. Please have the following information available when contacting us: Donor’s name; Name of stock and number of shares; Date of transfer; Gift designation.
The valuation of the stock for tax purposes will be the average price of the stock on the date we receive the stock.
Recurring Gifts
Make a difference for UW-Parkside students on an ongoing basis. You specify the frequency of your recurring gift (monthly is most common), and we will send you a calendar year-end tax receipt each January for tax purposes. Recurring gifts can be changed or cancelled at any time.
To sign up for recurring giving, visit our secure online donation form and select the recurring gift option in the Gift Details section.
Employer Matching Gifts
Your employer may have a matching gift program for employees and retirees, which can double or even triple the value of your charitable contribution. Consult your HR department for matching gift information. In most cases, the employer will have a matching gift form that you complete and send with your gift.
Faculty and Staff Giving
In addition to their time and talents, many UW-Parkside faculty and staff choose to support the university through charitable giving. Faculty and staff can give by payroll deduction or any of the giving options noted on this page.
Planned Giving
You can leave a legacy for UW-Parkside students by leaving a gift to the UW-Parkside Foundation through your will (bequest), a retirement account beneficiary designation, or other planned gift.
Gifts in Honor or Memory
You can honor or remember a significant individual through a gift to the university. Please note this information at the time of your gift. If you choose, we will notify the individual or family of your thoughtful gift; however, we do not share the amount of your contribution.
