Kinesiology and Sport Performance is the perfect major for individuals with a passion for exercise and being active. Kinesiology and Sport Performance professionals are involved in helping others to maintain and enhance their health and athletic performance. You will acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and capabilities in order to plan, implement, and evaluate training and fitness programs for diverse clients, patients, and athletes.

The Kinesiology and Sport Performance major involves an interdisciplinary applied science curriculum that relates evidenced based theory to practical real-world applications for personal training, athletic training, and athletic coaching. Undergraduate study in Kinesiology and Sport Performance provides preparation for advanced study in such areas as biomechanics, exercise physiology, athletic training, chiropractic medicine, physical education, and occupational and physical therapy.
