Black History Month Library Collection
The Library, in collaboration with the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA) is pleased to present a curated book collection from notable African American authors. There is also a display in the entrance to the library titled African American Innovators which brings together DVDs, CDs, and biographies from the UW-Parkside collection that celebrate the achievements of African American inventors, scientists, composers, and musicians throughout history. These items are available for checkout with a Ranger Card or photo ID.
Black History Month Kick Off

This event will be a mixer intended to establish sense of community and give students the opportunity to connect and get to know other students.
Black Professionals Luncheon

This networking event is intended to allow students to connect with black professionals in the community across various industries.

Stop by to paint canvases and craft vases while discussing the dynamics and inner workings of relationships as it pertains to the black community.
Flag Football

Fashion Show

27th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

The 27th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration honors the life and legacy of Dr. King. Attend this noon concert to hear from the Voices of Parkside, University Chorale, and the Jazz Combo at 12 pm. The celebration continues with a reception starting at 1 pm.
