Why isn’t Homecoming held during basketball season?
Homecoming is traditionally a fall celebration. Hosting it at this time allows us to welcome students back to campus, take advantage of outdoor activities, and celebrate events like the Ranger Hall of Fame. We also look forward to Alumni Day during basketball season, which provides another exciting opportunity to reconnect and enjoy the game together.

Why isn’t Homecoming held during flag football season?
Flag football is a spring sport and all games are held off campus, which makes it more challenging to center Homecoming activities around it. By hosting Homecoming in the fall, we’re able to bring the campus community together in a more centralized setting and offer a wider range of on-campus events and traditions.

Why are we hosting Homecoming if it hasn’t been a tradition before?
We are excited to introduce Homecoming as a new tradition that brings our community together in a meaningful way. It offers a dedicated time to celebrate our alumni, welcome them back to campus, and strengthen connections among students, faculty, and friends. By creating this opportunity, we are building a new tradition that highlights school spirit, community pride, and the relationships that make our campus special.
