Directions to Campus

Driving to Campus

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is located in the Town of Somers, Kenosha County, minutes from downtown Kenosha and downtown Racine. During the I-94 North-South Construction Project, an alternate route to campus may be required. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Alternate routes via I-94

From Highway 31/Green Bay Road
Turn east on County Highway E and continue 1.5 miles to 30th Ave./Wood Road, turn north.

From Highway 32/Sheridan Road/Racine Street
Turn west on County Highway E and continue to 1.5 miles to 30th Ave./Wood Road, turn north.

From Chicago via Interstate 94 (during I-94 North-South construction)
Take 142 (Burlington Road/ 38th Street) in Kenosha County to WI-31 North (North Green Bay Road). Follow WI-31 N for about two and a half miles to County Road E (12th Street/ Somers Road). Turn right on to E. Follow E for about one mile. Turn left on JR (Petrifying Springs Road) and continue for about half a mile until you see UW-Parkside on the right..

From Milwaukee via Interstate 94 (during I-94 North-South construction)
Take Highway 20 (Washington Avenue) in Racine County to WI-31 South (South Green Bay Road). Follow WI-31 S for about 6 miles. Turn left on to County Road E (12th Street/ Somers Road). Follow E for about one mile. Turn left on JR (Petrifying Springs Road) and continue for about half a mile until you see UW-Parkside on the right.

By Local Bus

Kenosha Transit serves the campus. For schedules and route information, call 262-653-4287. During the fall and spring semesters, the UW-Parkside shuttle connects to Racine's Belle Urban System. For schedules, check the UW-Parkside Police Department website.
