Celebrate Black History Month and join our Ranger Community for the 27th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Friday, February 27 at 12:00 p.m. This concert honors the life and legacy of Dr. King and will feature the Voices of Parkside, University Chorale, and the Jazz Combo with original compositions from students, Ben Kinchen, Jerome Porter, and Jessica Stewart.
The celebration continues with a reception starting at 1:00 p.m. in the Mathis Gallery featuring a slideshow of murals by Professor Lisa Marie Barber’s Art 124 class, Lowriders, Kicks, and Graffiti.
