Julie Lee: University Staff Distinguished Service Award
Julie Lee is an executive assistant at University of Wisconsin-Parkside, who currently works under Provost and Vice Chancellor of Academic and Student Affairs Rob Ducoffe.
Julie is known for effective scheduling and time management within the Provost’s Office, and for her positive attitude. She has always “gone the extra mile” and worked hard to get things done on time. Her proactive, helpful nature has led her to take on several volunteering opportunities both on and off campus. She has served on the Tree Decorating Committee, taken part in professional development opportunities, and has also worked hard to support commencement activities.
Outside of campus, Julie has volunteered for organizations such as Compassion International; Milwaukee Rescue Mission; Meal Delivery Services; Samaritans Purse – Operation Christmas Child; and Meals on Wheels. Julie was the previous Co-Chair of United Way of Wisconsin at previous employer and she has worked with several outreach ministries within her local church; University Staff Governance; and many more. Julie is also known for her singing voice, as a back-up national anthem singer for Brewers and Admirals!
Also, this year, Julie was recognized by WiSys for her idea she submitted to the COVID-19 Innovation Challenge!
Congratulations, Julie Lee!
