WiSys launches app idea challenge
MADISON—WiSys wants to help you launch the next great mobile application through the WiSys APPStart Challenge.
The challenge connects great app ideas with the expertise and resources to build a business. Finalists will receive initial app development support from WiSys partners, business mentorship and cash prizes.
Faculty, staff, students and alumni from all WiSys universities (UW-Eau Claire, UW-Green Bay, UW-La Crosse, UW Oshkosh, UW-Parkside, UW-Platteville, UW-River Falls, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Stout, UW-Superior and UW-Whitewater) are eligible.
No technical or business experience is necessary to participate. Submit your idea in 250 words or less by Nov. 2 at wisys.org/appstart.
WiSys is a nonprofit organization that works with faculty, staff, students and alumni of the UW System to facilitate cutting-edge research programs, develop and commercialize discoveries and foster a spirit of innovative and entrepreneurial thinking across the state.
