Petrifying Springs Biergarten
Celebrate the beauty of Autumn with us on Parkside’s campus with a (just over) 5k run. Afterwards, join the Flannel Fest party during UW-Parkside's Homecoming 5k on Saturday, October 4!
Chancellor Akey will officially launch the race festivities. The course starts and finishes near the Biergarten and takes runners on two laps around campus. Course map coming soon! A pacing vehicle will be on hand, and results will be posted on Wisconsin Runner after the race concludes.
Every participant will enjoy a drink token compliments of Petrifying Springs Biergarten and a special surprise gift at the finish line.
All 5k participants must complete a liability waiver during Packet Pickup on Friday, October 3 from 7AM-6PM at the UW-Parkside Sports & Activity Center, or on race day. Participation is not permitted without a signed waiver, and refunds will not be issued to those who decline to sign.
In the event of severe weather, UW-Parkside reserves the right to cancel the race for the safety of participants, staff, and volunteers. If canceled, no refunds will be issued.
