Dreams Come True Scholarship/Sueños Hechos Realidad
$500 award
The Dreams Come True Scholarship was established by the College of Social Sciences and Professional Studies in 2016. This scholarship is to be awarded to continuing students with a declared major in the College of Social Sciences and Professional Studies. Applicants should be in good academic standing. Preference will be given to Hispanic or Latino/a students, as well as students who demonstrate financial need but are not eligible for federal financial aid. Recipient will be selected by the Scholarship Selection Sub-committee of the university's Awards and Ceremonies Committee.
Mary Gallo Iaquinta Philosophy Scholarship
$500 award
The Mary N. Gallo Iaquinta Endowed Philosophy Scholarship was established by Leonard P. Iaquinta in honor of Mary Iaquinta. This scholarship is to be awarded to students with declared philosophy majors or minors, in good academic standing, with preference given to first-generation college students. Recipient(s) will be selected by the Scholarship Selection Sub-committee of the university's Awards and Ceremonies Committee.
Redlin-Walasek Geography Scholarship
$500-$1,000 award
The Redlin-Walasek Scholarship was established by Richard and Margaret Walasek in 2012 in honor of their parents: Audrey R. Redlin, Raymon C. Redlin, Ann S. Walasek, and Otto F. Walasek. This scholarship is to be awarded to entering students intending to pursue either elementary teaching licensure or a geography major or minor. Any entering students who intend to pursue both are to be given preference. Recipient(s) will be selected by the Scholarship Selection Sub-committee of the university's Awards and Ceremonies Committee on the basis of demonstrated academic achievement as shown by ACT score, GPA, and/or other measures.

La beca Dreams Come True fue establecida por el Colegio de Ciencias Sociales y Estudios Profesionales en 2016. Esta beca será otorgada a los estudiantes que continúan con una especialización declarada en el Colegio de Ciencias Sociales y Estudios Profesionales. Los solicitantes deben tener una buena posición académica. Se dará preferencia a los estudiantes hispanos o latinos/as, así como a los estudiantes que demuestran necesidad financiera pero no son elegibles para la ayuda financiera federal. El destinatario será seleccionado por el Sub-Comité de selección de becas del Comité de premios y ceremonias de la Universidad.

La beca de Mary N. Gallo Iaquinta Endowed Philosophy Scholarship fue establecida por Leonard P. Iaquinta en honor de María Iaquinta. Esta beca debe ser otorgada a estudiantes con licenciaturas o menores de declarados en filosofía, en buena posición académica, con preferencia dadas a los estudiantes universitarios de primera generación. El beneficiario(s) será seleccionado por el Sub-Comité de selección de becas del Comité de premios y ceremonias de la Universidad.
Redlin-Walasek Geography Scholarship

La beca Redlin-Walasek fue establecida por Richard y Margaret Walasek en 2012 en honor a sus padres: Audrey R. Redlin, Raymon C. Redlin, Ann S. Walasek, y Otto F. Walasek. Esta beca se otorgará a los estudiantes que tengan la intención de cursar una licenciatura en enseñanza elemental o una especialización en geografía o menor. Todos los estudiantes que tengan la intención de perseguir a ambos se les dará preferencia. El beneficiario(s) será seleccionado por el Sub-Comité de selección de becas del Comité de Premios y Ceremonias de la Universidad sobre la base de logros académicos demostrados como se muestra en la puntuación del acto, GPA, y/u otras medidas.
