Teaching Interests

Dr. Wild primarily teaches Financial, Managerial, and Intermediate accounting at the undergraduate level. He has also taught and has interest in teaching Accounting Principles, College Accounting, and Cost Accounting. He previously taught at the University of Wisconsin – Madison as a graduate student. Dr. Wild has presented numerous times at conferences and symposia on trends and innovations in accounting education. He has also pioneered new digital learning in areas such as Data Analytics and Visualization for the introductory accounting courses.

Research Interests

Dr. Wild received his PhD from Oklahoma State University. His committee was chaired by Dr. Dursun Delen. Dr. Wild’s recent research has focused on financial statement disclosure transparency, management decision making, corporate social responsibility, and financial and managerial disclosures. He is also interested in research in the areas of financial analysis, sustainability, and data analytics and visualization.
