University of Wisconsin-Parkside Statement on Comments Attributed to Professor of Sociology Dr. Seif Da’na

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is disappointed with the deliberate misrepresentation by MEMRI media and JNS media to distort commentary by Sociology Professor Dr. Seif Da’na.

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside has contacted MEMRI and JNS media, and YouTube to have the misrepresentation removed from their websites. The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is proud of its diverse and inclusive learning community, and values Dr. Da’na for his many years of service as a scholar, administrator, and respected educator.

“It pains me greatly that I have to respond to this deliberate and manipulative allegation. Like all my colleagues in the UW-Parkside community, I have a long- and well-established history of strong and unwavering views against all forms of discrimination, including Nazism and Fascism, and hold dearly the UW-Parkside community values of diversity and inclusion.”
