Critical Reflections on Discrimination in Racine and Kenosha

The Forum will attempt to unpack racism in our midst, and offer possibilities of change. There will be a discussion between the panel along with a Q & A session.

Dr. Jonathan Shailor, Professor of Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, will be acting as the moderator. Speakers include: Dr. Aubri McDonald, Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside; Timothy Thompkins, retired affirmative action officer for the city of Kenosha and a retired lance corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps; Dayvin Hallmon, former Kenosha County Board Supervisor and Founding member of The Black String Triage Ensemble; and Guida Brown, Executive Director of Hope Council on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse, Inc.
