Wisconsin Educational Recruitment Fair (WERF)

OPEN TO STUDENTS IN ALL UW SYSTEM SCHOOLS & PRIVATE COLLEGES WITH EDUCATION PROGRAMS.

The Wisconsin Education Recruitment Fair (WERF) is an educator fair held in Wisconsin early in the hiring season. Candidates who are interested in working in the K-12 school setting will have a chance to engage with school districts from Wisconsin and through the U.S. as you explore their K-12 opportunities. This is the perfect venue to connect with employers and to learn more about what they are looking for in candidates for their district.  

In Handshake you will be able to view the participating school districts & organizations and sign up for informational group sessions and/or one-on-one sessions with them. You are encouraged to sign up for these sessions prior to WERF so you can secure your spot!  Group and one-on-one sessions are the only way to connect with school districts during WERF.

To sign up for a school district's sessions, click on "Register" then you will be able to view "Available Sessions."
