Interested in graduate school? In this panel discussion, you will understand the fundamentals that everyone needs to know when planning to pursue an advanced degree. You will also learn about applying to and thriving in a graduate program. Panelists, who are currently pursuing or have received their Master’s or Doctoral degrees, will share their personal stories and offer advice on challenges that students face when applying to graduate school, financial resources, and much more.

Parkside students who attend this event will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a resource book surrounding the graduate school experience.

Meet our panelists:

  • Dr. Martel A. Pipkins, Sociology Department, University of Wisconsin-Parkside
  • Andres Rodriguez, National Vice-President for Young Adults, LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens)
  • Ashley Bustamante, Founder & CEO, Hilo de Colibrí
