In the Heights, based on Lin-Manuel Miranda's first Tony-winning hit, tells the story of a quickly gentrifying block in New York City's Washington Heights neighborhood and the people who live there. The film is directed by Jon M. Chu, Crazy Rich Asians, and written by Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes.
