Geography Bowl 2025

Morning sessions will feature round robin competition among participating teams. 

Teams with the best round robin records will then face off after lunch in the playoffs.

The probable final rounds depending on the number of participants from each grade, will involve one a final for 9th and 10th graders and another final for 11th and 12th graders.

Most of Geography Bowl’s questions are taken from Goode’s World Atlas, with supplementary information from the Population Reference Bureau’s World Population Data Sheet and various world almanacs.

Questions emphasize world place name geography (countries, cities, seas, oceans, rivers, etc.) along with population amounts and basic geographic concepts and terms
