Position Title:  Adult and Student Services Coordinator (Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) Outreach Coordinator).

*We are searching for two (2) Adult and Student Services Coordinators

Employment Type: Full time, Academic Staff, Salaried

Reports To: The EOC Outreach Coordinator will report to the EOC Program Manager and the Adult Student Program Manager in the Professional and Continuing Education department.

Pay Range: Starting at $40,000 annualized, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

This position supports the establishment of an Educational Opportunity Center at UW-Parkside. The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) is funded by a TRIO grant from the U.S. Department of Education and will promote secondary and post-secondary degree completion for qualifying individuals in the region, prioritizing low-income, first-generation, minority, and veteran adults. The EOC Outreach Coordinator will support the EOC Program Manager and Adult Student Program Manager in program development and delivery, including managing a 350-participant annual caseload, developing and delivering informational workshops, and performing outreach to academic and community partners. This individual will provide one-on-one and group support for program participants to facilitate their academic and professional success. 

*Some evenings and weekends may be required in the course of job duties, and the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule may be available. This will require reliable personal transportation.

Essential Job Functions
  • Perform outreach to internal and external partners
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to coordinate and deliver workshops that promote college readiness, financial literacy, and career-building skills for program participants
  • Provide one-on-one support and goal-setting assistance for 350 program participants annually 
  • Schedule and secure logistics in support of program events
  • Contribute to consistent program recordkeeping
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university 
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience 

The ideal candidate will possess previous training experience, as well as prior experience in a coordinator role.
