Position Title: Annual Fund Coordinator
Employment Type: Full time, Non-Instructional Academic Staff, Exempt
Reports To: The Annual Fund Coordinator will report to the Director of Donor & Alumni Engagement
Pay Range: $45,000-$50,000
Essential Job Functions
The Annual Fund Coordinator supports University Advancement’s work to raise funds and recognize donors through annual giving, corresponding events and community engagement activities. This role will collaborate with the Director of Donor & Alumni Engagement as well as the Vice Chancellor for Advancement to implement strategies and maintain relationships with key groups.
Knowledge of fundraising processes, special events, and community engagement will benefit the individual in this position. The Annual Fund Coordinator will need strong project management skills, attention to detail, excellent written communication skills as well as a strong knowledge of technology and electronic communications tools for this role.
This position collaborates with units across campus, throughout the community, and is a key member of the University Advancement team. University Advancement leads UW-Parkside’s development (fundraising), alumni relations, and strategic communications efforts.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Prepares and distributes donor print and electronic communications including annual appeals, thank you letters, impact reports, event invitations, phone scripts, event programs, website copy, newsletters and social media copy
- Evaluates existing donor strategy and makes recommendations to unit leadership for program enhancement
- Implements donor stewardship strategies and oversees annual stewardship timeline and assists Director and Vice Chancellor with personalized donor stewardship plans
- Discovers and creates storytelling opportunities for university publications
- Builds the Ranger Sustainers recurring gift program
- Performs tasks related to advancement special events including, but not limited to, organizing guest attendance, managing special event volunteers, creating virtual/ in person hybrid opportunities, overseeing event run of show, creating and managing guest communications.
- Collaborates with Director in other writing projects such as press releases, web copy, and scripts
- Monitors, organizes, and updates donor records, and implements operating policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 or more years’ experience in fundraising, project management, community engagement, event planning, public relations, marketing or a related field.
Salary and Benefits
