Essential Job Functions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with the Director of Athletics and Assistant AD for Strategic Communications and Marketing
  • Assist with the successful execution of the Parkside Athletics Corporate Partners Program
  • Solicit new business and community partners to become members of the corporate partners program
  • Assist with the renewal of existing partners
  • Create and track existing and new inventory
  • Create and deliver contracts and invoices to potential and current partners
  • Ensure fulfillment of all contracts, in collaboration with strategic communications and marketing
  • Provide consistent communication to corporate partners
  • Create and execute ticket plans and promotions for applicable sports, including individual games, season tickets, and group ticket sales
  • Work with the athletics department and University staff to foster and steward mutually-beneficial partnerships with community organizations
  • Work assigned hours in the athletics fitness facilities
  • Assist the Health, Exercise Science, and Sport Management department with assigned duties, including serving as an instructor of activity classes
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training and/or Certifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience working in college athletics or sports industry
  • Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal skills
  • The ability to exhibit professionalism and maintain confidentiality
  • Candidate must possess strong customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is preferred
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends
Salary and Benefits

Commensurate depending on qualifications and experience.
