This role supports the Unit Director and program managers in organizing and executing various events, training sessions, and workshops, ensuring seamless logistical coordination and adherence to project timelines and budget requirements. Key responsibilities also include marketing support, brand compliance, and cross-department collaboration. This position focuses on enhancing access to PCE's programs, facilities, and educational services, ensuring inclusivity for diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, creativity, and a collaborative approach.
Essential Job Functions
Primary Responsibilities:Support the Unit Director in scheduling and coordinating meetings.
Assist program managers with the logistics of training sessions, workshops, and events, ensuring smooth delivery.
Manage project timelines utilizing the CRM and Enrollment Management System to guarantee that deliverables are completed on time and within budget constraints.
Partner with the Assistant Director and team to develop, implement, and maintain marketing content across multiple platforms, including email, social media, digital ads, and print.
Ensure adherence to UW-Parkside Brand Standards by collaborating closely with campus marketing on digital and printed materials.
Contribute ideas for workflow and process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
Travel up to 10% of the time to client locations for marketing material distribution and other job-related duties.
Assist in the coordination of activities for the Adventures in Lifelong Learning (55+ group) program.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of programs.
Participate in special projects and other assigned tasks with adaptability and initiative.
Essential Knowledge and Abilities
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media marketing, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
Experience in event planning and coordination.
Technologically savvy, resourceful, and quick to learn new tools.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in event or workshop logistics coordination.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Enrollment Management systems.
- Experience with social media posting and digital communications.
