The campus is nestled in 700 acres of woodland and prairie and two miles west of Lake Michigan in Kenosha, WI. At Parkside we offer good benefits and an opportunity to get involved in community projects and employee engagement activities. We are proud to have the most diverse student body in the UW System and work together to help our students, staff and faculty thrive. Find out why Parkside is where you belong.

UW Parkside has been a leader in Sustainable Landscape Management since its inception, starting with hundreds of acres of native plant community restoration and wildlife habitat integrated into the educational environment and managed as an extension of the more traditional indoor labs. Immediate access to these quality habitats has long given our students and faculty an unparalleled advantage in developing practical skills in ecology and environmental science. That tradition continues today with innovative partnerships with our neighbors and local conservation groups to enhance the existing habitats and increase their capacity to preserve water quality and promote biodiversity.
