University Development Event Coordinator

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside invites applications for the position of University Development Event Coordinator.
The incumbent in this position will be responsible for coordinating university events and functions for the Department of University Advancement and in partnership with the Chancellor’s Office, including but not limited to receptions, meetings, and other special campus events. Position is responsible for major functions which include administrative operations, development of food and beverage services, marketing and promotion of events, and directing work of student interns and volunteers.
Essential Job Functions
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, facilitate, and coordinate all aspects of high-level events for the University
- Oversee the compilation of registration materials
- Resolve any problems or issues as it relates to the operation of events
- Maintain all event records and monitor fiscal responsibilities of all events
- Oversee staff operations prior to, during, and after events to ensure set-up, delivery, and clean-up

Qualifications
Education, Experience, Training And/or Certifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
- Two or more years of event planning or project management experience.
- Experience using technologies related to event planning (reporting, registration software, email marketing programs).
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Salary and Benefits
