2018 UW-Parkside Student Showcase

Published: April 13, 2018

The annual UW-Parkside Student Showcase featuring research and creative activity will be held Wednesday, April 18, from noon to 5 p.m. in the UW-Parkside Student Center (Ballroom and adjacent rooms).

The UW-Parkside Student Showcase is a campus-wide event highlighting UW-Parkside undergraduate and graduate students involved in student-faculty collaborative research and other creative activities (poetry, theatre presentations, art exhibits, community based learning, etc.).

This year’s showcase will introduce a new event: the “WiSys Quick Pitch Competition.” The Quick Pitch is an opportunity for students to showcase their creative and entrepreneurial spirit by presenting their research findings and innovative ideas through a short presentation to a panel of judges.

Students will be competing for a cash prize and the opportunity to have their research and innovative idea showcased at the WiSys annual WSTS (Wisconsin Science & Technology Symposium), being held at UW-Parkside July 30-31.
