“Always a Ranger”: UW-Parkside Invites Campus Community to Homecoming 2025

Homecoming 2025Kenosha, WI— The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is proud to announce Homecoming 2025, “Always a Ranger,” taking place Thursday, Oct. 2 through Sunday, Oct. 5. This year’s celebration invites alumni, students, families, friends, and community members to reconnect, celebrate, and share in traditions that define Ranger spirit. 

Festivities Across the Weekend

Start the weekend with Parkside spirit at the Ranger Tailgate on Friday, Oct. 3, from 4–6 p.m. at the Sports & Activity Center (SAC). Expect fun for all ages, a musical performance by local band ‘Would you Kindly?’, tasty food grilled by the Rangers Athletics coaches, and a great chance to catch up and enjoy yourself. Tailgate attendees will receive complimentary admission to UW-Parkside’s volleyball game starting at 6 p.m. 

Additional homecoming events, including a blood drive, music performances, athletics competitions, a 5K race, a trick or treat event, a haunted trails event, and more, will be held throughout the weekend. Alumni Events

UW-Parkside is also proud to recognize four exceptional graduates during Homecoming, presenting Distinguished Alumni Awards in four categories: Alumni Achievement, Alumni Service, Recent Alumni, and the prestigious Outstanding Alumni Award. These honorees will be celebrated at a private ceremony during the weekend. 

While some events are specially designed for alumni, all Homecoming events are family-friendly and open to friends and guests.
