Over one-fourth of the current student population at Parkside are non-traditional students. Parkside has identified the adult learner as a key part of Parkside's enrollment strategic. In an effort to understand how Parkside can become an adult learner focused institution that offers specialized services to meet the needs of adult students, Parkside has engaged with CAEL (Counsel for Adult and Experiential Learning) to identify how we can improve our service to adult service. Student feedback will be an important part of the process. All undergraduate and graduate students 25 years and older will receive an email the week of October 5th asking them to identify what is important to hem and whether we are meeting their needs as a student.

In addition, a team of staff from across the campus will be completing an institutional self assessment. CAEL will use the information gained in this process to help us improve the adult experience at Parkside.
