My own personal definition of diversity is the ability to understand and appreciate different nationalities, mindsets, perspectives, backgrounds, appearances, etc. Many of us attain a certain level of diversity by the way we speak, listen, learn, and socialize; and that is the beauty of diversity! The ability to give and receive different perspectives, unknowingly and knowingly, to the ideologies that we live with each and every day.

The UW-Parkside Rangers in Action: I.D.E.A. (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accountability) Leadership Champion Awards, sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Inclusive Excellence Committee, recognize individuals dedicated to ensuring that UW-Parkside is a place where diversity and inclusion efforts are intentionally integrated into the core aspects of our campus.
