Ray Cross comes to Parkside!

Several lucky Parkside students got to meet with Ray Cross, the UW System President, to ask him questions about the impending budget cuts. The students were all from a wide range of clubs, majors, athletics, and arts. 

Each student was given the opportunity to ask Cross questions about how the proposed budget cuts will affect Parkside and what he is doing to protect our schools. He also made it a point to personally get to know each student and make the meeting a discussion, rather than an interview. 

Cross made it very clear that no schools will be closing due to these cuts and he will be doing everything in his power to protect our rights as students, faculty, and Rangers.
