Parkside students are keeping the tradition alive one coat of paint at a time!

The tradition of painting the rock in the center of campus has been around since the beginning, and it doesn't look like it will stop any time soon. Any organization on campus has the opportunity to paint the rock, and they always take advantage of it. This week, Student Activities and Engagement chose to carry on the legacy and students had a blast unleashing their inner artist.

The rock is one of the landmarks on campus that students will always remember and having the freedom to paint it however they see fit is a lot of fun. The rock promotes unity and creativity around campus and it is one of the many things that make Parkside Real Amazing.
