Rocking Ranger Pride

Campus Activities and Engagement chose to keep a tradition alive and paint the long-standing, and never moving, Parkside rock. Once upon a time, the entering freshman class would gather to show their excitement and pride on this organic canvas. Since then, many different clubs and organizations have gathered to promote their club and their pride.

This year Campus Activities and Engagement grabbed their spray paint and a few students and got to painting. Events Assistant, Laura Arnold told us "I wanted to show the pride I have for this school. Keeping traditions alive is important on a small campus like Parkside."

So next time you are walking back to the dorms take a moment and soak in the beautiful surroundings we are lucky enough to our campus. And do not forget to admire the Parkside Rock.
