As the end of semester approaches, we often find ourselves stressed out and strained trying to cram for finals. Fortunately, next week will be full of events to take a break and relax as Active Minds hosts “Stress Less” week here at Parkside.
On Monday, Parkside Activities Board will be hosting “Unlock The Zen Through Your Five Senses” where students can partake in an Oxygen Bar, experience taste tripping, and receive free stress balls in the Student Center Ballroom from 11am to 3pm.
For those DIY-ers, Active Minds will be hosting a free event demonstrating how to make stress balls on the bridge Wednesday, December 3 from noon until 1pm.
On Thursday from 7 to 9:30pm, there will be a Gingerbread Craft Night in the Den, sponsored by Campus Activities and Engagement, where students can decorate their own gingerbread houses.
Remember, if you are ever find yourself feeling overwhelmed, Parkside’s Student Health and Counseling Center has great resources for stress management.
