Beth J. Bahr, the Director of Human Resources for Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart), has been named a 2018 Unsung Hero Honoree by the Wisconsin Law Journal. The Unsung Hero awards recognize outstanding work performed by members of legal support staff in a variety of categories.
Bahr graduated from UW-Parkside in 1989 and is an accomplished human resources executive with more than 25 years of experience working closely with business leaders in a variety of service industries to build strong service cultures, develop leaders and implement HR systems and practices that drive performance and business results. In her role, Bahr leads the firm in talent recruiting and retention, compensation and benefits, employee relations, organizational development, staff development and performance management initiatives.
Prior to joining Reinhart, Bahr worked for nearly 15 years in the financial services industry as the Director of Human Resources at State Financial Bank and Southport Bank. She also served as the Director of Human Resources at United Hospital System in Kenosha. In each of these roles, she led efforts to increase employee engagement, client satisfaction and operational excellence to improve overall organizational performance.
“Beth is a committed and enthusiastic leader who has played a key role in the success of our firm,” says Reinhart CEO Jerry Janzer. “From overseeing all HR policies, processes and procedures, to helping the firm develop talent and maintain our client services standards, Beth is a true team player. She excels at planning, strategy and communication, and makes it at top priority that all of our employees have a positive working experience. This recognition is much deserved.”
Bahr was honored at the 2018 Wisconsin Law Journal luncheon on December 5, 2018.
