University of Wisconsin Applied Biotechnology Program to Host Online Webinar on Careers in Biotechnology, Featuring Industry Experts

SOMERS – The University of Wisconsin Applied Biotechnology Program will be hosting an online webinar on Oct 15 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. This free online event is open to anyone interested in discussing careers in biotechnology today. The event will be moderated by program manager Dr. Melinda Verdone and feature a panel of experts in the field.

Dr. Verdone earned her M.S. in Microbiology and her Ed.D. in Higher Education and has more than 20 years of biotechnology experience working in research and development and higher education. The panel will consist of Steve Caldwell (Illumina), Phil Hemken (Abbott Laboratories), Amy Hendricksen (Bio-Rad), and Richard Schifreen (WARF)
