College of Arts and Humanities Alums Excel

Alumni of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside College of Arts and Humanities are consistently doing great things and are being recognized for their hard work and dedication.

Libby Chernouski, a spring of 2014 graduate of UW-Parkside with a bachelor's degree in English, continues her linguistics education in the graduate program at Purdue University. Chernouski's Purdue experience was fully funded through her work as a teaching assistant. This year, Chernouski received the Purdue Graduate School Teaching Excellence Award.

Three other graduates from Parkside's College of Arts and Humanities recently completed graduate degrees:

Hailey Foglio: master of fine arts in creative writing from West Virginia University

Sara Tickanen: master of fine arts in creative writing from The New School

Emily Harring: master of arts in English from the University of Texas at Austin
