Community-Based Learning Scholarship Awarded

With the generosity of local philanthropist Len Iaquinta, the second $1,000 Community-Based Learning Scholarship has been awarded by the Center for Community Partnerships and UW-Parkside. The Community-Based Learning (CBL) scholarship is open to all UW-Parkside students who are pursuing a CBL Certificate. The 2014-2015 scholarship recipient is Erica Otto, a sophomore at UW-Parkside. Erica has provided great service to the Racine community, working at the Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization (HALO). She is excited to engage in other CBL projects as she works to complete her CBL Certificate.

The Community-Based Learning Scholarship is awarded annually to a student who is pursuing a CBL certificate.
