Armani Peterson

Advising Excellence Award

Armani Peterson formally worked as an Academic Advisor for UW-Parkside for 4 years. During his role as an advisor, he advised new and continuing students in regards to course selections, career exploration and selecting a major.

In his new role, Armani is currently a Career Advisor who works primarily with STEM and Health and Biological Sciences students at the University of California, Davis. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 2014 with a Bachelors in English with a Writing Concentration.

During his undergrad experience, he worked as a mentor, tutor, and program coordinator for several departments on campus. Post-graduation, he started working as an Academic and Career Advisor for the College of Arts and Humanities at UWP.

He has a great passion for assisting students with their career goals. He understands the job market can be frightening, but with proper preparation, finding a career can be attainable.
