Governor Walker proclaims Nov. 17-24 as "Cross Country Week"

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has proclaimed Nov. 17-24 as "Cross Country Week" in the state. UW-Parkside's Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course, in the village of Somers, Wis., is an important race venue for the vibrant cross country community.

The 40th annual Foot Locker Midwest Championships will be held on the legendary course Saturday, Nov. 24. The event features almost 1,500 high school cross country runners from 13 states.
