Three students smiling and holding awardsMeet Lexi – a Pre-Health student, 4-year Volleyball athlete, and now, a recently accepted student to Medical School. Lexi embodies what it means to be a Pre-Health Student at UW-Parkside. Her path to Medical School was not always the easiest, but she never gave up, kept working on improving and, in the Fall of 2025, begins the next stage of her journey towards becoming a Physician.

I’ve been privileged to work with Lexi from the year before she started at Parkside, to the time after she graduated, to help her achieve her dream. I tell my students here at Parkside that if you want to get into a program, then you will. It’s not a question of getting in…. if you want it bad enough and you are willing to work hard enough, then you WILL get there… the only real questions are where and when. I’ll be there to help and support every single one of my students.

Are you the next great story? Come on over to Parkside and let’s find out – I’d sure love the chance to work with you to help you on whatever path you are on.

At Parkside, you are not and will never have to do any of this on your own.  I promise you that I will be there to help. Every. Step. Along the way.  Even if that means working with you after you graduate, once you come to Parkside, you are my student, and you will be my student until you don’t need me anymore, no matter how long.

Come be part of this small, hands-on program where nearly 90% of our pre-health students get into the programs they want to.

I’ll be here, the chair in my office is pulled out, and the coffee is ready to go. Let’s go.
