As an academic advisor, Kim says the best part of her job is helping students maneuver through their academic careers. She enjoys talking with new students about where they have been in life and where they want to go.

Her life outside of Parkside is all about family. Kim and her husband are the parents of two young girls … rounding out the household is their dog, Gilhooley. Kim is starting her fourth year at Parkside this fall.

She previously served as Athletic Academic Advisor and Volleyball Coach at Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, and was an athletic academic intern at the University of Alabama.
