Renewing Wyllie Hall
After nearly 2 years of planning and design, the Wyllie Hall renewal project construction began in May. This first phase in a multi-phased renovation of the building includes renovations to the D1 (ground floor) and L1 (concourse) levels. This fall the most visible changes taking place are to the UW-Parkside Library on the L1 level, with new office areas, classrooms, library circulation space, a coffee venue, and a new library entrance.
The project updates infrastructure in Wyllie Hall, which opened in 1972, and creates a fully integrated student services area that further supports student success. Funding for the $35.4 million project was part of the 2017-2019 Wisconsin capital budget.
