Marketing Students Garner Several Awards in 2013

UW-Parkside received well deserved publicity for its October first place finish at the national team sales competition. Students Joshua Frazier, Carlyse Mayfield, Jeremy Mishork and Nathan Whittaker took home 1^st place at the two-day event against many leading schools. However, this competition was just the most widely publicized last year. Also in October, Eric Nass and Will Cray received 1^st place in the Marketing Strategy Competition at the Aurora Regional AMA Conference and Beatrice Williams received 3^rd place in the UW-Whitewater Regional AMA Conference Sales Competition. At the 2013 National Collegiate Sales Competition in Atlanta, Dave Kirkeby placed 2^nd in MBA Needs Assessment, Will Cray placed 3^rd in Customer Care, and Dave and Will placed 3^rd in the MBA team competition.
