Master Singers

University of Wisconsin-Parkside Master Singers makes choral excellence accessible to all, regardless of previous training and experience. There is no tuition fee. UW-Parkside students may add Master Singers to their schedule for credit; community members may simply come and join.

Master Singers rehearsals take place Monday evenings from 7 to 9:45 p.m. Additional rehearsals will be scheduled in preparation for the Master Singers featured performance of Brahms "German Requiem" April 29 and 30.

The immortal Brahms "German Requiem," will be performed with orchestra in UW-Parkside's Frances Bedford Concert Hall renowned for its superb acoustic quality. The Master Singers will be joined by the University Chorale and Milwaukee Choristers for this historic performance.

Included among many significant works performed by Master Singers during the choir's existence spanning three decades are Handel's "Messiah," Mendelssohn's "Elijah," Vivaldi's "Gloria," the Verdi "Requiem," Haydn's "Nelson Mass," and Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony."
