KENOSHA, Wis. - The most transformational project of RangerVision 2020 – the creation of the multipurpose indoor turf center – is entering its final phases and Parkside Athletics is working hard to complete the first-class facility. On Monday, Director of Athletics Andrew Gavin announced the Turf Center Challenge to help reach the project's fundraising goals.

The challenge will pit the four programs that will frequently use the facility for practice – men's soccer, women's soccer, baseball, and softball – against each other to see who can generate the most support. The program with the most donors to the project during the challenge will receive a special RangerVision 2020 prize!

The success of the Turf Center Challenge, which will culminate as part of Parkside Day on April 15, is critical to the completion of the state-of-the-art facility. On the north end of the Sports & Activity Center, a state project is repurposing the old aquatics space and creating a multipurpose space with 6,300-square feet of turf. Donors, alumni, and business partners can assist us with the finishes to the space, including batting cages, wall padding, custom netting, and divider curtains.

"We've been incredibly pleased with the state project to this point, and we appreciate the hard work and partnership of JP Cullen and Lee Mechanical that has ensured the turf center has made outstanding progress," said Andrew Gavin, Director of Athletics. "As we approach the finish line, the generosity of our alumni and supporters can ensure the transformational project is completed in a first-class manner that benefits our students and community."
More than $30,000 is already raised towards our goal of $200,000, with Vonco Products and Community State Bank leading the way with multi-year partnerships in support of this project!
