Dr. Theresa R. Castor's Accomplishment

Dr. Theresa R. Castor, Associate Professor and Chair of the Communication Department, has been recognized for her accomplishments for her three published papers.

Dr. Castor's co-authored paper "Taking the Moral High Ground: Avoiding Accounts as a Practice for Being Uncompromisingly Principled" (co-authored with Dr. Jessica Robles, Loughborough University, first author) which was selected as a top four paper of the Organizational Communication division for the International Communication Association conference in San Diego.

"Dialogue Over Time and Space: Communicatively Constituting a (Water) Place" has been accepted for the presentation at the International Association for Dialogue Analysis conference. This conference will take place at the University of Bologna, the oldest university in the world in continuous operation.

Castor's last paper was published online in the journal Critical Sociology last month. Her paper "Sustainability and Textual Extensions of Institutional Discourse: Testing the Great Lakes Compact" was very well recognized.

Dr. Theresa Castor has done an excellent job at continuing her accomplishments here at UW-Parkside.
