Regents Approve UWP Faculty Promotions

MILWAUKEE – The University of Wisconsin Board of Regents approved the following promotions for UW-Parkside faculty during its June meeting:

FAY AKINDES, Communication, promotion from associate professor to professor 

DIRK BALDWIN, Dean of the College of Business, Economics, and Computing, promotion from associate professor to professor 

DAVID BRUCE, History, promotion from assistant professor to associate professor with tenure 

JAMES CROWLEY, Music, promotion from associate professor to professor 

PARAG DHUMAL, Business, promotion from assistant professor to associate professor with tenure 

RYAN KARR, Mathematics, promotion from assistant professor to associate professor with tenure 

LAN NGUYEN, Mathematics, promotion from assistant professor to associate professor with tenure 

LESLIE WALKER, Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, new appointment – professor with tenure
