Student Center Fire May 20

At approximately 7 p.m., Friday, May 20, the UW-Parkside Police and Public Safety Department responded to fire alarms in the UW-Parkside Student Center. 

A fire was discovered on the L1 level of the building. The City of Kenosha Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.

The Student Center was closed at the time the fire was discovered and no injuries were reported.

According to UW-Parkside officials, weekend events in the Student Center will take place as scheduled.
