Governor Walker Declares Employee Appreciation Week

The Office of State Employment Relations has notified UW System chancellors that Governor Scott Walker issued a gubernatorial proclamation declaring May 2-6 as State Employee Recognition Week. 

Despite the challenges surrounding us each day, student success, our most valued initiative, continues to be our focus. I am proud to say that because of your commitment and dedication we continue to make significant progress. Saturday, May 14, we will celebrate the commencement of close to 500 students – again this year, one of the largest number of graduates in UW-Parkside history!

Congratulations! This could not happen without YOU!  

I am proud of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and proud of our faculty and staff. I know that we make a difference in the lives of our students, the lives of each other, and in our surrounding community. Thank you for your hard work, for your support, particularly during these challenging times, and for your invaluable contributions to our university.
