23rd Annual Urban Music Leadership Conference

Music education students from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside participated in the 23rd Annual Urban Music Leadership Conference in Milwaukee on Friday, Oct. 12th. They visited six different schools throughout the city and observed a wide range of music classes from elementary to high school. This experience helped connect them with leaders in the field of urban education and inform their perspectives as future music educators. Dr. Donna Hewitt, and students Hope Hummel, Veronica Aceto, Joseph Herron, Griffin Cofell, and Abigail Lewis got the opportunity to see the music education system first hand.
