State Budget Information Session Monday, April 20

A community update information session will be held Monday, April 20, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at UW-Parkside in the University Cinema located inside the Student Center. Free parking is available in Lot A, east of the Student Center. 

The event will provide a community perspective on the impact of the proposed state budget cut facing UW-Parkside and the UW System. Scheduled speakers include local elected officials, representatives from regional business and economic development organizations, and members of the UW-Parkside learning community. 

Historically, more than 70 percent of students attending UW-Parkside are from Racine, Kenosha or Walworth county. Approximately the same percentage of UW-Parkside's 22,000 alumni reside in the these three counties.
